Find Inspiration!
When starting a new project, I often search fashion blogs and trade publications for inspiration, especially for window treatments. recently I won an international award for a window treatment that I created after seeing a photograph of a model wearing a blue and white striped jacket and darling red shoes. I was struggling with how to pull a floral, stripe, and solid together for a window treatment to tie the client’s original bedding together with the new color scheme that they wanted. The outfit was my inspiration and this is the result! Inspiration can come from anywhere.
